Michael Thomas Ford nasceu em 1º de outubro de 1968 nos Estados Unidos.
Ele é principalmente conhecido por romances homossexuais, como a série “My Queer Life”. O autor tem mais de cinquenta livros para jovens e adultos.
No Brasil, a editora Lua de Papel lançou o livro “Jane Austen, A Vampira”, o primeiro livro de uma trilogia na qual a autora de clássicos como Orgulho e Preconceito vive nos dias de hoje, como uma vampira.
